Top 5 Post-Coronavirus Trips

This week, I want to do something a little different. I’ve been thinking a lot about what my life will look like once we reach the end of this crisis and, today, I want to stray from the places I’ve been and talk about the places I’ll be going! While none of these are finalized, they’ve all been on my must-see list for (what feels like) ages. With any luck, they’ll all be checked off in the next two years! Here are my Top 5 Post-Coronavirus Trips:

1. Bali/Thailand/Singapore

This has been at the TOP of my list for the last two years! After seeing photo after photo and hearing so many stories about how beautiful and peaceful it is, I wanted to see it for myself. The only thing that’s stopped me is that, obviously, this is going to be a longer trip.I didn’t want to use all of my vacation time on one trip! But now I’m unemployed and have all the time in the world!Wait...

2. Namibia

From the desert to the beach, this country has everything. I know a few people who have traveled here and it looks beautiful. I’ll admit that I don’t know a ton about this destination yet besides the fact that the safaris are amazing and the ghost towns are spooky and stunning.I’ll be honest though, this is probably one I’ll do with a company who knows the terrain and the area. I’ve heard driving here can be a little interesting if you don’t have experience off-roading.

3. Venice

Until I finally make it back to Italy, Venice will be known as the trip that got away. I was supposed to go visit for a week this May but, given the circumstances and the timing, I had to postpone it indefinitely. But I love everything about Italy and, with its canals and architecture and food, I doubt Venice will be the exception!

4. Grand Canyon

I feel like a bad American for this one, but I’ve never been before. The pictures I see give me true travel envy, but I can never decide if I want to do a whole National Park loop or not. This year, though, I’m going to finally make a decision and go!That’s the goal at least...

5. Switzerland

My best friend is going to study at CERN!! I’m so proud of her and so so happy for her. But you can also bet that I’m making plans to go there in October once the leaves change. The Swiss Alps + fall = me becoming the human equivalent of the heart eyes emoji. What are your Top 5 Post-Coronavirus Trips? Or even Top 1! Share it below in the comments.
