For those who don’t know me, my name is Lauren. I’m 25, have big dreams, and a somewhat realistic way to achieve them (take that, Cards Against Humanity). For those who do know me, not a ton of this will come as a surprise.

I caught the travel bug in college, but I never expected it to hit so hard. After studying abroad in London once, I decided I hadn’t gotten my fill and did it again. After that, I was back on a plane three months later. It was crazy. I couldn’t get enough. Even today, I refer to it as one of my homes. My college years led me to the bumpiest roads in Ireland, an Italian police station at 6:00 in the morning, and hopelessly trying to understand the French subway system.

One graduation, two jobs, and nine months later, I finally got the opportunity to become a travel agent. It was a dream come true. Every day I got to work with people that I loved and do something I was truly passionate about. And I was really good at it.

Then COVID-19 happened, I lost my dream job, and moved back home with my parents. At that point, I started to think about what would happen if I just didn’t find another 9-5 once everything settled. My brand was only nine months old but I was already an established blogger, influencer, photographer, and social media consultant.

So, for two years, I wandered through the self-employed life and realized something really important: I hated being my own boss. I was really terrible at holding myself accountable and it was so much easier to take a nap instead of actually working. So I made another huge change.

I moved across the country to Phoenix, met an amazing man, got a new job, and you know what? I’m happier than I’ve ever been.

From travel to social media to that sweet, sweet quarter-life crisis lifestyle, there’s something for everyone here.

So with that said...Welcome home.
